For art this week, the kids designed their dream room. The pics are in order from Nathan-Samuel and then Hunter-Lily.
We learned about the Roanoke Colony in history, watched a quick video about it and then they wrote/drew their theory on what happened to the colony.

In science, we started our unit of experiments on heat. Here, we were boiling an ice cube and holding a cold spoon over to watch condensation:
We also had prize day this week! It was Halloween-themed with glow-in-the-dark silly string, bubbles in a bloody finger container and halloween pencils:
Our night time silly string fight was a success!
This weekend, we attended my Grandma Hill's funeral. The kids were pretty sad, especially the older two, but they did well. We ended the day at Pizza Ranch and enjoyed the break from travel!
