Week 1

1st week of school done!  We were all eager to get going on Monday morning.  :)

It was a good start to science because we had an experiment on day 1!  We are testing different mummification recipes.

Another fun thing on day 1 was a red, white and blue snack because we'll be learning about the USA.

Nathan got to spend some time outside with Dad while the big kids did all their schoolwork with me.

Kindergarten is going well so far!  He prefers to do the alphabet song by himself.  :)

We had beautiful weather this week so we had PE at a walking trail.

A Noun scavenger hunt:

A picnic:

A trip to the library, where they had kinetic sand:

Another science experiment:

Name crafting:

The twins like to do their independent work in their own space.  For Hunter that was the porch, with the cat close by:

For Lily, it was the desk in her room:

Everyone was happy with their 1st week of school, including me!  I really like all of our curriculum this year.  Yea!!!
