Long Time, No Post

It's been busy and I haven't updated the blog in awhile (or it feels that way).  I can only comment on the pictures because I have no idea what all we've been doing--enjoying the lack of schedule/activity, I guess!

I did make a sensory tub for the kids.  This one has water beads, bugs and silicone mini-muffin cups.  Again, I thought Nathan would love this but the other kids played with it a lot more.  Nathan mainly tore the beads apart and made a big mess.

Speaking of Nathan, he started repeatedly crawling out of his crib so we had to make the move to a toddler bed.  Brian and I have no fond memories of this stage with the other kids.  It's been okay--nothing horrible but not perfect, either!

 (He's pretending to sleep here)

There have been a few days where I skip nap to save me the trouble and sometimes Nathan can handle it.  Sometimes he can't!

Brian worked Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend but he had Tuesday off to spend with us.  We headed to a park and enjoyed the weather and time together.  The kids brought me these pretty flowers:

We then hiked and found this snake skin.  It was so cool!

I don't remember why we were at my parents house with the Henley cousins but the girls had a tea party.  They were pretty funny and loved being waited on!

A trip to the library where I let Nathan out of the stroller.  It ended quickly thereafter.  He's the sweetest and funniest little guy but very opinionated on what he should be doing and where he should be going.  :)

An onion ring tower to celebrate preschool graduation!  Samuel loves onion rings so this was his chosen treat!

We had a busy morning of shopping used curriculum sales, running to the store for milk, stopping at my parents' house for potty breaks and hitting a park.  I ended up at one with a splash pad so the kids were excited.  I only have pictures of Nathan because I was keeping my phone out of the water.  :)

Nothing major happening, obviously, but we are enjoying summer!  This month is busy so I'll try to update again soon with all the happenings!
