Walker

This was the best picture I could get of my walker. He walked on the 19th for the 1st time and I was soooo excited!!! I don't know why since it means a whole new brand of trouble but he's been so close for awhile now. The kids keep trying to get him to walk but he does it when he wants--a few times a day so not a ton. He's pretty ornery and clearly knows where he shouldn't be and what he shouldn't touch because he looks at us to see if we notice before heading that way. But, he's such a joy and it's all cute at this stage! :)

Looking Back

When Lily was student of the week, I read the directions and it said to send "A picture". Being the literal rule follower that I am, I sent 1 picture of her choosing (a very cute one when she was 9 months old). I then went to the classroom twice for parties and saw that the student of the week on those weeks sent numerous pictures. Fail! I felt horrible. So, now it's Hunter's turn to be student of the week and I felt such a dilemma. I finally just emailed the teacher (we talk a lot so I feel comfortable with her!) and told her that I did NOT favor one child but I would be sending multiple pictures this time. However, I am only sending 2 of just Hunter and the rest are of the twins together so I hope that makes up for things somewhat. I know it's not a life changing event for Lily but I felt so bad!! Anyway, here's a couple pictures that I found for Hunter that are so incredibly sweet:Hunter and Lily, 2 years old

Hunter and Lily, 1 week old (Lily's broken arm is snug against her body so that's why it looks like she's missing one!)

Snow!

Because we got this much snow on Christmas break:

(and it warmed up pretty nicely) The kids were able to get out and use the snowman kit Grandma Barb gave them awhile ago. They made a "Mrs. Frosty", too, but she didn't have any adornments.

Samuel told Brian he found raisins so there was a lesson on rabbit droppings while they were out there.

They loved it and always expect hot cocoa to be ready when they come back in!

Just to add a picture of Nathan, here's his newest trick. He opens the wagon gate, crawls and rocks it back and forth, squealing. He will also try to stand up and rock so we have to keep an eye on him!
