Week 35

Our results are not easy to see but we did have growth on our agar plates!  Ewww!!!  :)

We started our plant unit that will last the rest of our school year.  On this day, we discovered we could eat a whole plant:

This activity taught about pollination (cheese from our fingers was transferred to other flowers).  

And, we did the popular celery experiment:



Nathan started his own unit on Despicable Me!  We've done a lot of fun things using a printable theme pack.

Lily took her math to the white board in an effort to figure out estimating.  It's been a challenge for her!

We also had a week of hair cuts!  Here's Lily's new 'do:

Nathan's new hair cut, which he LOVES!!  This is also his tablet, which he rediscovered, and has been playing games and learning to write letters.  :)

In other news, we visited Brian's work and got some fun prizes:
