Week 17

This week we finished up our read aloud and watched the movie, which was very accurate! Nathan rated the book 4.5/5 stars. We watched a video and then played memory with organelle cards to wrap up our Biology lesson. We did a snowball writing project, which means we took turns adding to a story. Nathan ended it unhappily, though! Our final day was just a Christmas escape room and a round of Abducktion, which he won! We have two weeks off now to enjoy the holidays!!

 

Week 16

This was a busy week! We made Christmas cookies. Nathan got his permit and it was quite the time at the dmv. Nathan made an animal cell for science. Finally, Brian and I got to enjoy a fun, Christmas-y date night! One more week of school before Christmas break and we’re ready!!

 

Week 15

We had a pretty busy week this week. We had our last supervising teacher visit for 2025! I’m biology, we used toilet paper as polypeptide chains and learned about the 4 different folding organizations. In history, we learned about Britain’s salt tax on India and Nathan made a salt painting. We are getting close to winding down things for break!
