Last Week

Last homeschool gymnastics class:

Samuel's last time hanging out with Grandma and Papa PJ while the other kids are at gymnastics.  :)

 Filled the rocket chart for reading!!  

Everyone filled their last sticker chart!  The prize was Chili's!

Our last day was supposed to be a fun field trip at Camp Wapsie but the weather interfered.  We had a fun day, anyway, shopping, eating out and going to a movie. We are done for the school year but will continue to work on some reading/math over the summer.

Week 37

We had a fun art project this week but it was very messy!!  The finished projects are so cool, though!

Nathan had a fun time at Scouts last week flying this rocket.  He was hoping it would fly to Pluto and he's sure it made it to space.

This week, Nathan graduated to a Wolf. He was pretty excited!!

Lily had an end of the year banquet for AHG.  She got a lot of cool badges and we enjoyed celebrating her as a family!!

These are the looks I get when I try to take school pictures.  They are over it.  We're on our last week now so we are just getting to a good stopping point in all subjects.  We are all ready for a break but we'll need to continue some things over the summer break.  

Week 36

Brian and Lily had a father daughter dance last weekend.  They had a lot of fun dancing the night away.  :)

 We had a field trip this week.  My parents went with us to a wildlife center, a park and a cave tour.  We had a lot of fun!!

This is what happens when I try to take pictures of Samuel doing schoolwork.  He's really done with his math work but we're reviewing some of the harder topics, like geometry!

They filled a sticker chart again this week so I gave them candy bubbles.  It was the worst weather for it!!  And they tasted gross.  Oh well!

Mother's Day is today.  We had beautiful weather for the 1st time in a couple of years so we enjoyed a picnic under my favorite tree at the arboretum.  

Week 35

We had a pretty full week of school because activities are slowly dying down.  We finished a reflection art project and I think they turned out well!

We had some reading outside this week because the weather was so nice.

On Friday, we had a field trip that went with Nathan's farm class.  It was a lot of fun!  He finally got to pet a cow:

 After our field trip, we made a stop to see some more cousins, Sydney and Carley, and a lot more animals.  We ended our day with a trip to a park so we were tired at the end of the day!

I had the chance to get pics with my two oldest this week.  They are growing too fast!

3 weeks of school left!!
