Week 14

This week was super short!  We had school on Monday and then we were off.  We had planned a field trip Tuesday but we had too many sick kids to make it that far (it was 2.5 hours away).

Week 13

This week we did a science experiment showing that the deer population needed to increase for the cougar population to increase.  They enjoyed this one!

Nathan got to enjoy some Thanksgiving-themed activities.

We built the wall of Jericho and knocked it down!

Hunter helped slice cranberries for the cranberry bread Nathan and I made in honor of our book, Cranberry Thanksgiving:

These 3 colored the areas on the map that the 12 tribes of Israel occupied:

MHSAP classes ended for the session.  Nathan and Hunter worked on this honey badger in their Lego class:

We took Friday off, partially for my stomach bug and partially because my Mom, Lily and I had plans to surprise Hunter with Dr. Strange! 

Week 12

History involved Chinese dynasties and silkworms this week!

Meanwhile, Nathan studied Japan and tried out an origami dog.

Nathan and I spent some time at a park while the twins were at class and Samuel was with my parents.  He said he was teaching me to have fun!  Ha!

We took Friday off and did family swim, a picnic, shopping and got ready for our big weekend!

Saturday was the family birthday party for Jamie, Hunter and Lily.

These 3 all have braces now!

Sunday was the twins' birthday so we celebrated all day long!!  

Week 11

We took Monday off for Halloween fun!!

The costumes did show up throughout the week, though.  :)

Nathan got to open another country box--this time it was Japan. He enjoyed painting a bird wind sock.

Cinders was supporting Lily as she worked on her schoolwork.

The end of the week was as exciting as the beginning because they filled their 2nd sticker chart!  There was a silly string fight outside to celebrate.
